About The Opportunity
As an HR Generalist you will work with the Human Resources team and will have a thorough understanding of the mechanics of the human resources department and the key functional areas of HR. You will be responsible for working with the team and the Vice President of Human Resources with a variety of duties, including but not limited to, new hire onboarding, orientation, employee relations, program and policy development, reporting, and special projects to develop and implement new HR initiatives. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in any environment. You have plenty of drive, enthusiasm for your work and will leverage your creative problem-solving skills to help you tackle new challenges as they arise.
- Provide support to all employees on day-to-day HR activities and provide routine guidance
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information while working independently
- Build strong relationships with internal clients and vendors
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the team as we work towards building and maintaining a world class candidate and employee experience
- Ensure full compliance of all policies and procedures
- Assist employees with all HR related inquiries, issues and plan/program enrollments
- Mitigate and escalate employee relation issues while adhering to company polices
- Prepare Employment Offers and Contracts
- Support all Onboarding / Off-boarding activities as needed
- Maintain and administer various systems such as, our Learning Platform, Predictive Index and HRIS
- Assist in Recruitment process on an as needed basis with occasional sourcing and pre-screening of candidates
- Contribute to the life of the company, our respected brand, and our culture
- Ad hoc project work and special assignment as assigned
About You
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet aggressive timelines
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain employee confidentiality and discretion
- Required Education: Related University Degree
Pay Rate
$30 - $35/hour
