About Our Client
Our client based in the Vaughan/Concord area is looking to add a Senior Associate or Manager to their small firm. This full-time role provides a flexible work schedule as well as a group benefits plan. This well-established organization has achieved great growth over the last few years, resulting in opportunities for those looking for great progression in their careers. Our client requires a candidate with a strong foundation in ASPE reporting standards, as well as personal and corporate tax preparation.

About the Opportunity

• Plan, execute and complete compilation and review engagements for owner-managed businesses
• Prepare tax returns, corporate, personal, trust and non-profit
• Support and management of bookkeeping staff
• Investment accounting
• Provide clients with technical support
• Correspond with CRA

About You

• CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• Experience in assurance work with up-to-date knowledge of tax compliance for owner-managed clients
• Strong technical expertise in accounting and professional standards
• Working knowledge of Profile, CaseWare, CaseView and QuickBooks
• Provide hands-on support to clients and junior staff
• Team player, self-motivated, well organized, and efficient, ability to work independently
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills between clients, staff, and government agencies
