Financial Analyst

Our client is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients. They are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for maximizing profitability by regularly reviewing sales profit margins and making strategic recommendations to commercial and financial management.

• Performs regular reviews of sales profit margins to monitor and compensate for exceptional cases
• Regularly audits contracted prices for gross margin testing and data integrity
• Assist with month-end reporting requirements
• Assess and respond to requests to rebill customer invoices adhering to limits of authority
• Perform, analyze, and report on sales and market trends (internal and external)
• Assist with testing IT systems as developments are deployed
• Provide ad hoc support to Pricing Analysts

• 3+ years in a Analytical capacity, supporting and partnering with Business members (all levels)
• Experience working in an Inventory based company
• Strong Analytical skills, including Excel
• Experience with ERP’s, CRM, and Business Intelligence platforms (JDE, Salesforce, and Tableau CRM preferred)

Salary Range 
$80,000 - $90,000/year
