About the Opportunity

Responsible for monthly financial reporting including preparation of financial statements.
Responsible for Quarterly presentation of consolidated financials
Work closely with Internal Audit Team to make sure that all the procedures/policies are adhered to
Manage and review work of staff within A/R, A/P and Payroll
Review and approve: Accounts payable invoices against cheque payment, Purchase Orders and other documents
Verify actual payroll transactions for accuracy, allocate payroll expenses to the proper G/L accounts
Co-ordinate with auditors for the yearly tax return
Responsible for yearly budget and forecast process
Manage on-going internal controls program

About You

Bachelor degree in financial or accounting with a CPA designation
10+ years working experience in managing position
Experience within general accounting, standard cost accounting and budgeting and forecasting
Good Leadership and supervisory skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
In depth knowledge of SAGE
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced excel skills

Pay Rate
$50/hour
