About the Opportunity

• Direct the billing function (2 billers) including coordinating of activities, reviewing invoices, managing customer purchase orders, supporting annual renewal and price increase processes. Act as direct people manager to billers.
• Oversee the monthly PS revenue recognition function including reviewing forecast/actuals with the head of PS
• Act as support for the sales and professional service teams to address revenue recognition queries 
• Advise professional services regarding percentage of completion estimate and act as control owner over POC revenue
• Analyze accounting treatment of large multi-million-dollar revenue contracts with multiple deliverable elements
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and note disclosures
• Develop commentary and presentations on financial analysis and reports for senior management

About You

• CPA, CA designation
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including time at a Big 4 firm with a focus on public clients. As well as experience in a managerial or a senior role directing more junior team members.
• Strong fundamental accounting and audit knowledge with an excellent grasp of IFRS reporting standards
• Experience in % of completion accounting for both time and materials PS projects and fixed fee projects
• Experience in analyzing large customer contracts with multiple deliverable elements (IFRS 15)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Salary Range
$100,000 to $105,000/year
