About the Opportunity

Perform testing of risk management and financial reporting controls. As well as help facilitate the annual controls certification and assist with the maintenance of key risk management initiatives.
Facilitate triennial fraud assessment initiative to strengthen the risk management environment of the company.
Assist the concerned departments in developing and implementing corporate policies through consultation and discussions with the senior management. (i.e., Data Management Policy).
Assisting with the maintenance of Tarion’s compliance program module, and identification of key policies deemed high risk to the organization for compliance review purposes.
Assist with the planning and execution of risk-based compliance reviews.
Identify weaknesses, provide recommendations, and complete required follow-ups of high-risk findings with business units.
Provide ad-hoc support to senior leadership and internal auditors to help facilitate the completion of projects and deliverables.

About You

Minimum bachelor’s degree in risk management and/ or compliance is preferred or diploma program with post graduate certificate in relevant program. Accounting Designation/ MBA / Risk Designation will be preferred.
6+ years of work experience in a relatively senior role ideally with 3+ years prior experience in risk management or compliance roles and/or equivalent education training.
Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
Superior attention to detail in order to identify and correct risky practices.
Possess a collaborative personality.
Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls. Have the ability to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinker with good written and oral communication skills.
Experience with any GRC tool is appreciated. Archer experience is a plus.
Access to High-Speed Internet connection at home is essential.

Pay Rate
$45/hour
