About the Opportunity
- Prepare monthly consolidation and financial statements.
- Oversee the month end process and complete monthly workbooks.
- Manage and review all journal entries and transactions posted in the general ledger.
- Review payroll and act as a backup for payroll preparation.
- Assist with inventory management, monthly cycle counts and control adherence.
- Prepare financial analysis and provide insight into variances.
- Help with the yearend budgeting process.
- Liaise with the company’s auditors and assist with the yearend audit process.
- Assist in documenting all accounting tasks.
- Help implement process improvements.
- Assist with control implementation.
- Help with ERP improvement projects.
- Help with day-to-day cash management needs.
- Other tasks that may be required.
About You
- CPA, CA designation
- Minimum of 3 years audit experience
- Minimum 2 years industry experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting
- Experience supervising accounting staff
- Experience with a distribution or manufacturing company is an asset
- Must have audit experience
- Must have advanced excel skills
- Experience with Adagio Accounting Software is an asset
