Manager of Tax

Our client is a global tech company.  They are looking for a Manager of Tax to join their team!

• Provides support for global tax planning
• Manages worldwide tax compliance (including review of tax returns).
• Responsible for Canadian income tax compliance, including Canadian corporate income tax returns and other information returns (e.g. T106, T1134, T5013, etc.).
• Preparation of quarterly/annual tax provision, and other tax reporting requirements (e.g. consolidation, note disclosures, memos, etc).
• Research and interpret changing tax legislation and related income tax regulations, rules and case law, identify tax issues and opportunities for tax minimization and advise on their implications.
• Understand changes to financial reporting standards and analyze the impact to tax provisions and tax returns.
• Review transfer pricing analyses and computations
• Provide support to other cross functional areas and/or senior management on tax related queries.
• Continuously improve efficiencies related to tax processes.

• 4 plus years of experience in an accounting firm or industry
• CPA designation (or equivalent designation) with completion of or enrolment in CPA In-Depth Tax Course, or Master of Taxation.
• Bachelor's degree
• Canadian Corporate Tax background

Salary Range 
$110,000 - $125,000/year
