Sr. IT Operation Manager

About the Company   

Our client is a large real estate organization looking to hire a Sr IT Operations Manager 

About the Opportunity 

• The objective of this role is to manage the efficiency and effectiveness of operating and sustaining the company’s network and associated infrastructure, corporate servers, storage, patching platform and Active Domain management.  

• This role will lead a team of dedicated, experienced IT internal professionals to fulfill the function’s key accountabilities.  

• These accountabilities include managing the activities and operational procedures required to deliver internal and outsourced IT services. The execution of pre-defined standard operating procedures while evolving the key monitoring activities.  

• This role will be responsible for collaborating closely with the IT management peer group team and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions, ensuring alignment with the enterprise architecture.  

• A key initial focus will be to review and make recommendations for improving the operational processes that will align with evolving escalation, monitoring, ticket management and reporting requirements. 

About You 

• Strong Network infrastructure and windows systems administration, design, planning, implementation, upgrades, etc. (focused on Networking) 

• People leadership skills – performance reviews, hiring/firing, mentorship, coaching – min 5 years of total experience and team size no less than 5 people 

• Experienced in data centre management, architecture knowledge/design 

• Strong communication skills – working with senior business stakeholders 

• GTA based - Ability to be in office 100% 

Bonus Items: 

• Service provider role is an asset – supporting / managing large enterprise environment 

• Real estate industry experience 

Salary Range 

$140,000/year
