About the Opportunity

• Oversee a team of 8 team members including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, billing and collections, payables and cash application functions

• Enhance procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective finance operations and sufficient operating controls
• Analyze financial results and prepare reports to management and the Board
• Oversee preparation and review business forecast on a quarterly basis
• Support business improvement initiatives with financial analysis

• Review balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by analyst team
• Review accounting memos and new customer contracts to assess IFRS 15 impact
• Review standalone financial statements to be presented to lender and report quarterly on status of bank covenants
• Plan, manage and execute the annual external audit

• Work as an advisor to sales team for deals in progress to maximize revenue for the business
• Enhance procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective finance operations and sufficient operating controls
• Direct and co-ordinate all core accounting functions (payables, collections, billing)

About You

• CPA designation
• Audit experience gained at a Big 4 firm with a focus on public clients
• 5 years post qualification industry experience
• Experience working in a leveraged organization
• Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements)

Salary Range
$130,000 to $140,000/year
