Finance Project Manager

About the Opportunity

  • Project initiation, integration, scope management, resource management scheduling, communication, risk management and reporting ensuring alignment with initiative milestones
  • Work closely with Project Lead to develop project priorities and implement strategic priorities
  • Identify multiple work stream dependencies across the projects and maintain the project flow, adhering to milestone and timelines
  • Project manage the specific tasks and the associated PM responsibilities associated to it - project deliverables (project plans, final reports, presentations, briefing notes, etc.) of assigned project work streams
  • Work with Project Lead to implement the change management – releasing the communication, ensuring compliance to the internal framework and utilizing the existing material to cover the change management aspect of the project

Project tasks:

  • Create or support the creation of the project and plans
  • Create logical sequence for tasks per project stream, incl. interdependencies between tasks and projects; logistics to execute against the tasks
  • Source and assign appropriate resources
  • Schedule tasks in accordance with project requirements and available resources; follow up on deliverable & status reports
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to the project plan progressions (take notes & action plans).
  • Record and managed risks and issues, propose remedies, escalate if needed
  • Cost control and reporting (progress against budget, tracking and forecasting)
  • Facilitate polling/surveys as needed
  • Develop and support workflow diagrams

Project Coordination:

  • Work with various internal and external stakeholder discussion to ensure on time, budget and scope project delivery and stakeholder collaboration and buy-in
  • Chairing and facilitating meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Work and follow-up/ manage the assigned vendor communications
  • Work with various teams across the organization and externally to plan and coordinate delivery efforts

Project Reporting:

  • Develop consolidated project reporting for the Project Lead for management / committee reporting
  • Prepare written and verbal reports (e.g., briefing notes) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update project repository with documents and deliverables
  • Measurement of progress against plan (KPI report)
  • Updating stakeholders on PM actions – including risk and issue mitigations
  • Any other general project reports

About You

  • PMP or equivalent designation with at least 5-6 years of experience of managing transformation projects for complex environment
  • Previous experience implementing a multidimensional ERP system- management accounting and planning (budgeting and forecasting)
  • Work with ERP/ business information systems and excel – management accounting and planning (budgeting and forecasting)
  • Experience managing multiple ongoing projects/ work streams simultaneously
  • Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders - internal and external
  • Experience in coordinating multiple onsite teams in different time zones
  • Knowledge in IT solutions, network, hardware, and relevant technical conventions
  • Work with Agile methodologies is an advantage
  • Hands-on in developing reporting and deliverables
  • Ability to manage conflicting timelines and priorities

  • Advanced Excel skills

Pay Rate

$50/hour
