Our client is a successful Canadian company looking to hire an Application Support Analyst.

About the Opportunity

This role will support and ‘own’ a few large enterprise applications – more from support/troubleshooting and ‘small change’ perspective.
Overall we are looking for an application support analyst who has supported critical production application(s) which would cripple the company if they went down.
Need basic SQL – write simple queries/joins, be able to look under the covers if needed.
Any exposure to any simple development (eg .NET, etc) is good just to be able to sometimes understand what errors are being thrown by the code.
This person also needs to have basic Windows server troubleshooting skills (eg look at event logs, is the service running, IIS, powershell is a plus, etc).
The role will involve preventative maintenance (patching, updates, etc) as well as working on config/changes/etc – smaller changes (eg change this field, move this button, slightly change workflow, field validation, etc).

About You

At least 2 years of production application support experience – supporting critical enterprise application(s)
Basic SQL (able to run select/join/where/orderby queries)
Strong troubleshooting experience – narrowing down problems/issues, testing, prioritization, etc
Basic Windows server troubleshooting experience (logs, services, connectivity, VM, etc)
Experience with IIS support/troubleshooting
Experience with IT helpdesk ticketing systems
Strong communication skills – phone/written
Able to commute to North York office 3-5 days per week

Salary Range

$85,000/year
