Accounts Receivable Coordinator - 6 Months to Permanent

About the Opportunity  

• Create and issue sales invoices to customers, resolve issues 
• Reconcile accounts receivable and follow up on past due accounts 
• Reconcile receipts to sales invoices and to the accounts receivable schedule 
• Deposit cash receipts 
• Compute adjustments to invoices, such as manufacturer charge-backs, sales discounts and promotional items 
• Issue Credit notes or invoice corrections as required 
• Manage credit applications and new account administration 
• Support in the preparation of month-end and year-end working papers 
• Data entry of financial transactions into Sage 50 
• Maintain customer files 
• Reconcile credit card statements, follow up on errors or inconsistencies 
• Assist in other finance duties as required 
• Other duties as assigned 

About You  

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business or a related field 
• Related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment 
• Strong understanding of business processes 
• Familiarity with accounting software packages 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy 
• Able to work efficiently and take  to manage deadlines in a fast-paced business environment 

Pay Rate 

$22 - $25/hour
