About the Company  
Our client is one of the biggest automobile manufacturers in the world, and they are looking to hire a Sr. System Administrator (Active Directory).

About the Opportunity

• The role is to join their Global Cyber Security team and worldwide organization
• This team is the backbone of their global Active Directory (AD) service delivery
• This team will help in securing the company’s internal and cloud environments
• The global team currently supports 600k objects, 300k users, 300 controllers, major data centers in Atlanta, Frankfurt, Singapore
• They are currently undergoing Azure migration and are moving to the Zero-Trust framework.

At a quick glance this role will (Not limited to)
 

• Install and operate Microsoft Active Directory (AD) services on enterprise-level infrastructure by working closely with project and support teams
• Will use the ITIL approach to resolve technical problems
• Serve as an escalation point for complex application-related support and troubleshooting
• Perform daily system monitoring. Ensure that the performance, scalability, and security is maintained and optimized
• Contact vendors for technical support in case of priority 1 incidents

About You

• Experience 3+ years in IT Active Directory/Infrastructure administration, preferably from larger orgs like Banks, Insurance etc. (5000+ users)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) including AD based DNS (Domain Name Systems)
• Experienced in managing enterprise multi-forest infrastructure models e.g., 50+ controllers. (Experience with just 1-5 AD controllers won’t do)
• Experience and strong knowledge of client / server operating systems (Linux, UNIX, and Windows), backend infrastructure services and networking, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), certificates
• Experience in Microsoft System Operations (SCOM), System Configuration (SCCM), and Microsoft Hyper-V or Quest backup systems
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication and authorization

Bonus Items:

• BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience
• Understanding of Azure AD / Microsoft cloud IAM solutions
• Experience working in project teams

Salary Range
$110,000/year max, based on relevant experience.
