Senior Financial Analyst (CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH)

About the Company 

Our client is a Manufacturing Company. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for a variety of accounting matters to support the financial state of the Company

• Responsible for the preparation of the consolidated monthly financial close for all COS (Cost of Sales) for the enterprise;
• Responsible for participation in preparation of Sales and COS annual budget;
• Oversee variance analysis for Sales, COS and Gross Margin on a monthly basis in comparison to budget;
• Conduct monthly project management meeting to review projects with lower margins and to prepare action plan necessary by operations team.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements as related to inventory counts, inventory maintenance and inventory costing;
• Collaborate with Manager BI and Reporting for system implementation as they relate to COS;
• Responsible for Cost accounting function;

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance; and
• CPA designation is an asset.
• 5-7 Years of Experience

• Knowledge and experience in accounting practices and regulations;
• Ability to effectively use analytical and problem solve skills
• Knowledge in Sage 300 ERP or similar accounting software;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload;
• Proficient in data entry and management;
• Discretion, judgment, and tact to handle confidential information;
• Organization, attention to detail, and accuracy is required;
• Write letters, memos and emails;
• Communication with coworkers daily by telephone, email and in person; and
• Demonstrate Company values and work in a team environment.

About You 

• CPA  
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience 
• Knowledge and experience in accounting practices and regulation 
• Knowledge in Sage 300 ERP or similar accounting software 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook 

Salary Range 

$80,000 - $90,000/year
