About the Opportunity
- Receive and verify all invoices from vendors and secure appropriate approvals for timely payment processing
- Ensure any credits, discounts, payments, outstanding payments or account discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner
- Process a large volume of invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Book invoices to accounting system ensuring appropriate coding and approvals are in place
- Process payment through cheques in multiple currency
- Interact with external vendors and various internal departments to analyze and resolve payment issues, and be confident in explanation and delivery
- Excellent organizational and time management skills by timely follow ups on missing payments, reconciliation issues and resolving internal and external conflicts
- Reconciling vendor monthly invoices and resolve any discrepancies / issues
- Prepare and reconcile client monthly featured report as required
- Assist staff with ad hoc expense reports and reimbursement
- Other duties as assigned
About You
- 2 - 3 years full cycle accounting and office administration experience in a high-volume environment
- Diploma education in a finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred
- Excellent English language communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Expert proficiency with MS-Outlook, Excel and Word
- Familiar with Quickbooks, Simplified, or other accounting systems
- Independent self-starter, with solid organizational, time management and multi-task skills
- Good mathematical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Experience organizing and coordinating office and facilities operations
- Strong problem-solving analysis and assessment skills
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team environment and balance the needs of several individuals and the team
Salary
$45,000 - $55,000/year
