Payroll Administrator

About the Opportunity

  • Process and reconcile the payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Preparation and distribution of timely and accurate payroll reports
  • Assist in documenting Payroll processes
  • Date entry for all time and attendance and personnel transactions such as new hire; termination, leave of absence, benefits deductions, garnishments, etc
  • Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records
  • Document workflow and work procedures
  • Other duties, as assigned by immediate Manager/Supervisor

About You

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with primary responsibility for payroll administration and processing
  • Experience working with ADP
  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office
  • Detail oriented and ability to work to tight timelines
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
