About the Company
Our client is a successful, and well established Private Equity investment Company. They are looking for a Director of M&A Transactions. This role will report directly to the President and will be involved in the M&A Transactions process and will provide analysis of deal-related financial information and creating comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.

About the Opportunity
- Proven analytical skills to assess data from multiple and varied corporate and financial information sources, to effectively understand and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Proven financial modelling skills to evaluate a wide range of investment candidates efficiently.
- Proven track record in generating detailed buy/sell-side due diligence plans for target companies that includes identification of deal opportunities and risks, and that suggests risk mitigation strategies and opportunity enhancement strategies.
- Audit skills and experience required to efficiently drive the examination of target companies.
- Sophisticated report preparation and presentation skills to develop and convincingly present a comprehensive deal deck on target companies to the Investment Committee and other stakeholders.
- Relationship and communication skills to work closely with acquired companies to improve operational and financial reporting to meet the needs of new stakeholders.
- Relationship and communication skills to develop a strong and influential relationships with management personnel at the investee companies to help with the oversight of acquired companies including the monitoring of performance against expected results supported by detailed variance analysis.
- Technical accounting skills required to prepare comprehensive quarterly financial statements including detailed notes and schedules for the portfolio companies in accordance with ASPE along with a M, D & A to stakeholders.
About You
- CPA Designation
- Public Accounting Training from Big 4 and or Big 6 Firm
- Minimum 10+ years of accounting, audit and/or financial experience
- Experienced Managers and Senior Managers currently in Transaction Advisory Services
- Understanding of the M&A Due Diligence Process
- CFA & CBV are assets
Salary Range
$160,000- $180,000/year
