They are looking for a Director of Finance who will be an integral leader within the organization and will oversee a team of direct reports in managing the firm’s, financial accounting and reporting, operations and compliance.

About the Opportunity

• Team Leadership
  • Liaise with direct reports on the oversight of day-to-day and overall function of all Finance Operations activities nationally including Accounts Payable, Collections, Billing, Client Life Cycle, Financial Reporting
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and development to the Finance team
• Financial Accounting & Operations
  • Reviewing financial statements and reports to monitor business performance and detect potential problems
  • Ensure successful month-end and year-end close processes
  • Oversee various financial reports for Management Team
  • Oversee AP and Trust payments to ensure accuracy, validity, and proper authorization
  • Actively review AR to ensure timely billing and collection
  • Oversee the monitoring cash flow and ensuring that bills are paid on time
  • Assist with the coordinating of external auditors
  • Ensure financial controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively
  • Maintain strong dynamic controls and processes for all Finance workflows to minimize exposure to fraud
  • Assist with firm wide budget process
• Process Review and Development
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, pursuing opportunities to improve process efficiency through automation and new technology
  • Implement processes to enhance data integrity
  • Develop and document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

About You

• CPA
• 8-10 years' of experience with Managerial level experience
• Coming from the professional services industry
