About the Opportunity

• Architecting and model building within the Corporate Performance Management software and the existing business intelligence stack
• Determine model architecture and design, build multi-dimensional models, data warehouses, measures and front-end forms and reports

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or Finance
• Designation or relevant experience that combines finance / business experience with technical design and build of corporate performance management systems
• Development experience in Anaplan is preferred but experience with a similar system like Workday, Hyperion, Profix, etc. would also be of interest
• Online training and resources will be provided so we need someone who is willing go above and beyond and invest time in learning
• Ability to thrive in a self-learning and high collaboration environment
• Self-starter who can work with minimal oversight
• Comfortable with high intensity work pace and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to put user experience first
• Manage multiple tasks at one time with moving targets and requirements
• Resilient individual who is comfortable with rapid iteration and able to thrive in a trial-and-error environment
• Strong understanding and knowledge of finance
• Data architecture and modelling experience
• Able to translate minimum requirements into viable products
• Hands-on architecting and model building experience with Corporate Performance Management software like Hyperion Planning or similar software
• Hands-on architecting and model building experience with Corporate Performance Management software like Hyperion Planning or similar software
• Extensive experience with multi-dimensional models, model architecture and design, data warehouses, measures and building front-end forms and reports
• Understand how to build the data model in different ways in critical and financial acumen
• Advanced Excel and knowledge of VBA and SQL
• BI and DAX experience is nice to have
• Change management understanding or experience is a strong nice to have
• Application and financial modeling at an advanced level for example with sales activities and targets, systems reporting, balance sheets, cash flow, leger subledger, how do you source, how is a cash flow statement built, etc.
• Knows relational and multidimensional data modeling
• ETL Talend is great to have but experience with SSIS or SSAS
• Execute data management standards and deliver best in class data model practices
• Participate in discovery and brainstorming sessions to gather planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements
• Experience with Enterprise Planning and Budgeting processes specifically with Anaplan is preferred
• Experience with any programming language, ability to create formulae and scripts
• Ability to design and implement data strategies, build data flows and develop data models
• Ability to build multi-dimensional models and views required for budgets, forecasts and to support analytics and reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and processes
• Good knowledge of driver-based planning
• Experience with Acteryx is nice to have
