- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, which may include preparing and formatting correspondence, reports, and presentations, filing, scheduling meetings and conference calls
- Assist with formatting financial statements and other documents using Caseview/Caseware
- Assist with client invoicing and process invoices through the billing system
- Manage work in process for a number of billing partners and managers
- Assist with employee expenses
- Formatting and review of draft reports and schedules including spelling, grammar, basic comprehension
- Finalization of reports to ensure accuracy and professional appearance consistent with the high level nature of the work and our firm’s standards
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format
- Coordinate corporate assemblies and assist with T1 assembly during tax season
- Type, photocopy, and distribute sensitive material
- Relief reception duties shared between five positions
- Assist partners and team members with booking meetings, scheduling outside facilities, etc
- Provide general office support as needed
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an administrative assistant in an accounting or legal firm
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience using Caseware/Caseview is an asset
- College diploma or university degree
- Effective communication (verbal and written) in English
- Applicants must possess the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and with a high level of attention to detail
- Positive outlook with an enthusiastic manner
- Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment
