About the Opportunity
- Assist with the day to day operations of the department and ensure consistency with financial and administrative processes and requirements
- Organizing and maintaining filing room and systems
- Receive and manage scanning of invoices in OCR, including printing, sorting and filing
- Preparing bank deposits
- Receiving, sorting and printing patient billings
- Calling and managing applications to MOH
- Collection calls/emails to follow up on outstanding non-ministry receivables
- Handle, sort and distribute postal mails
- Manage and direct incoming phone calls and email queries
- Provide backup services for AP and AR staff on leave
- 2+ years in an administrative position, supporting accounting or AP department
- Experience at a Not-for-Profit an asset
- Experience using MS Suite, specifically MS Excel required
- Excellent communication skills (English) both written and oral
- Proven time management and attention to detail
Pay Rate
Up to $24/hour
