About the Company

Our client is a well-known private eyewear company, and they are looking to hire a Tier 2 – HD Specialist.

About the Opportunity

• This Level 2 HD role is a junior to intermediate combination of helpdesk and systems – ideal for some one coming in from a role where they were handling a responsible HD without a big team and are used to resolving issues without much hand holding, experienced building PCs
• Role requires near perfect communication skills – to patiently resolve issues via phone, fax, email or in-person
• The right candidate will have hands on experience troubleshooting windows workstations, knowledge of Active Directory, Office 364 email, Knowledge of desktop operating systems and software - Windows 7 and 10 plus Microsoft Office (2013 to 2021) and basic understanding of networking and servers
• About 200 users.

About You

• Minimum three (3) years related experience and training in Tier 2 help desk environment, hands on with troubleshooting and resolution
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems and software - Windows 7 and 10 plus Microsoft Office (2013 to 2021)
• Active Directory and Office 365 email administration
• Basic understanding of networking and servers, maintenance, will not be required to fix any major issues
• Driver’s license and a car for remote site visits/troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SIP based Phone systems would be an asset (Mitel or Shoretel even better)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V clusters, SQL in a clustered environment, SAN Infrastructure and Veeam Backup would be an asset
• Professional certifications are an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be considered an asset

Salary Range

$65,000/year
