About the Opportunity

The Senior IT Manager, Information Security Operations will provide hands-on leadership and management of all Cybersecurity Operations activities, including the Information Security Operations team, Security Incident Response program, and our Security Vulnerability Management Program (monitoring and identifying vulnerabilities, assessing vulnerability risk levels, communicating with other groups and service providers to ensure that vulnerabilities get prioritized and addressed based on their risk to the environment)

The Senior, IT Manager will also be responsible for the security review and assessment of infrastructure changes to the environment

The role will have a strong influence in building the Vulnerability Management Program, including documentation, SLAs, tooling, best practices, as well as the Information Security Operations program

The SIEM-SOC team will eventually be transitioned to an outsourced provider
-
The Information Security Operations activities include infrastructure security assessment (impacts of moves, adds, changes, projects), enterprise malware solutions, OS hardening standardization, firewall rules change assessments, and VPN security

The Vulnerability Management Program will include creation and implementation of policies, standards, SLA definition, escalation, OS/software patching cycle definition and monitoring, along with vulnerability scanning management, remediation and operational procedures
About You
-
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Incident Response and Vulnerability Management
-
3+ years of experience in people management and teamwork skills
-
3+ years of deep experience with one or more of the following threat and vulnerability management solutions (Nessus, Rapid 7, Qualys)

Experience building and managing security operations teams and managing around the clock cyber security operations

CISSP Certification
-
Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, COBIT, or NIST
-
Previous experience in implementing Vulnerability Management programs, threat intelligence collection, analysis, and other activities that are relevant to this role

Knowledge of technical infrastructure, operating systems, networks, databases, and systems as they relate to IT Security and IT Risk
-
Experience with threat intelligence, endpoint protection, firewalls, IPS/IDS, content filtering

Good understanding of GRC (Governance, Risk Management, Compliance)
-
You have experience with regulated environments (banks, finance, regulatory bodies)
-
3+ year of experience in people management
-
Advanced experience working with one or more of: Python, GO, Ruby, and have experience integrating with third party APIs
Salary Range
$153,000/year
