Sr. Accountant - 3 Months to Permanent (Closed)

About the Opportunity  

• Manage Chart accounts 
• Assist in Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions 
• Assist in managing the business plans and budget process of all company budgets and develop monthly tracking reports 
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process 
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes 
• Assist in consolidating all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results 
• Assist in coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements 
• Developing purchase price variance report and financial reports on monthly bases 
• Responsible for training and retaining skilled accounting staff 
• Liaising with Operations, R&D, administration, and IT to administer support 
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivables and general bookkeeping 
• Briefing on financial authority, regulations, and financial structure 
• Initiating, processing, and finalizing claims 

About You   

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Bachelors in Accounts or any accounting degree/diploma 
• Hands on experience with ERP systems, SAP will be an asset
• Have managed direct teams of 2-3 people and above 
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles 
• Demonstrates problem solving skills, organized, process oriented with attention to details 
• Great collaboration and communication skills, bridging finance and business 
• A high drive, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic and changing global environment 
• Experience with management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business support 
• A structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude  
• Any additional duties as may be assigned by the management 

Pay Rate 
Up to $39/hour
