About the Company

Our client is an API organization for travel space. They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join their team. 

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a very hands-on development lead/manager (60-70% architecture, code reviews, work on data acquisition pipelines/injestion, work on their APIs, work on cloud architecture). 

The stack is:

• .NET C# and Golang for API
• Google GCP for cloud
• ETL pipelines w/ Kafka (streaming data), Postgres and in-memory Redis, Memchache

About You

• Computer Science Education is an asset
• Dev team management/leadership experience
• Proven senior-level development and architecture experience in large real-time transactional systems. Working with streaming data, building data services, building high volume APIs are all bonus
• Strong application development background (.NET or Java or Python; Golang is a bonus)
• Strong API experience (architecture, security, scalability, etc)
• Strong data side knowledge (data acquisition/ingestion, pipelines, ETL, cloud data systems)
• API development experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience with the following are strong assets, Agile/Scrum, Terraform, Tensorflow, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MemCache, Azure/AWS/Google
• Travel or large ecommerce systems experience

Salary Range

$120,000 - $160,000/year
