Our client is a leading commercial real estate company specializing in various investment, management, and development projects. They are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant who will be responsible for the consolidated financial reporting process at the corporate level

About the Opportunity

• Perform period close, month end accounting entries, and month end reconciliations for Commercial and Residential Development operational groups, Corporate entities, Eliminations, and Consolidation
• Support preparation of monthly Consolidated financial reporting
• Support completion of Development, Acquisitions, Corporate, and Consolidated annual budgets by preparing and updating working schedules, preparing Yardi upload templates, and uploading into the system
• Support Treasury function by preparing cash position reports and maintaining a letters of credit schedule
• Prepare year end joint venture Financial Statements and related working papers
• Prepare and update working papers for annual income tax filings across all legal entities
• Prepare, maintain, and make ongoing improvements to Excel templates for period end, reforecast, annual budgets, and other
• Support implementation of new Finance policies and procedures
• Other ad hoc projects, as required from time to time.

About You

• CPA designation
• 3-4 Years working experience (in Commercial real estate industry)
• Intermediate (or higher) skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Yardi

Salary Range

$80,000 - $90,000/year
