Senior Accountant (Payroll) (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Prepares payroll calculations and input for monthly and bi-weekly payroll
• Prepares annual reconciliations, pension adjustments, and T4 slips
• Point of contact for general payroll and benefit related inquiries
• Administration and reporting of Group Benefits Plan
• Assist Finance Manager and CFO with preparation of monthly journal entries, general ledger account analysis, fiscal year-end working papers, and other reporting as required
• Prepares and reviews HST/GST rebate applications and provides associated analysis

About You

• 5+ years related work experience
• Knowledge of CRA and provincial statutory requirements
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation an asset

Salary

$85,000/year
