Our client is an innovative travel company. They are looking for a Senior Accountant (Bilingual - Cantonese) who will assist in the preparation of financial entries and in-depth analysis of the general ledger accounts supporting the financial statements.

About the Opportunity

• Perform bank reconciliations, various balance sheet account reconciliations and other schedules
• Analyze information to record journal entries and ensure all financial information is captured accurately in accounting system
• Prepare accurate accounting reports and perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure information is complete
• Ensure compliance with all areas of IFRS and adherence to internal controls, related policies, operating procedures, etc.
• Assist with various monthly analyses to explain variances to budget
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist manager with conducting annual audits and interim reports
• Respond to ad hoc inquiries and other analytical requests

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years related progressive working experience
• Good knowledge and working experience with SAGE/ ACCPAC
• Advanced experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook programs.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $90,000/year
