Our client is a large company who manufactures consumer packaged goods with a focus on health and wellness. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and treasury of the business.

About the Opportunity 

• Manage the Day-to-Day Accounting and Treasury– Maintain integrity of the general ledger; manage working capital to ensure efficient use of resources; review and approve daily transaction; and provide oversight over cash management including payment processing and reconciliation;  
• Month End Close – Perform account reconciliations; Prepare month end financial analysis and reporting to key stakeholders; Improve the efficiency of our month end close cycle;  
• Report Meaningful Actionable Information – Communicate timely and accurate financial results including causes for variances against forecast/budget/prior year and forward looking implications;  
• Provide actionable information that will impact the company’s financial results; Drive overall performance and accountability for results; 
• Internal Controls, Audit and Tax Compliance – Provide oversight and improvements to the company’s internal control processes;  
• Manage external auditors and successful completion of the year-end audit; Ensure sales tax and corporate tax compliance; and  
• Support ERP Improvement Initiatives – Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s ERP system including its financial tracking and reporting capabilities; 
• Endeavour to improve the company’s systems and security over information Knowledge 

About You 

• CPA 
• Minimum 3+ years in a financial role with audit experience 
• Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office applications 
• Month-end, internal financial reporting, full cycle 
• Manfacturing industry experience 

Salary Range 

$85,000 - $90,000/year
