SAP Payroll Manager (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a leading organization in the construction industry. They are looking for a SAP Payroll Manager who will be responsible for leading the payroll department in the growing company.

About the Opportunity

• Lead a team of 5-7 people, overseeing the Production environment of SAP/SF
• Directional leadership responsibility for the production of accurate weekly and bi-weekly US and Canada payroll utilizing SAP
• Lead payroll year end and annual reconciliation for Canada and the US
• Lead tax and regulatory reporting for quarter and year-end payroll activities
• Reconcile general ledger payroll tax balance sheet accounts and prepare correcting journal entries as needed
• Ensure project costing model is upheld and all hours, burden and employee costs are captured and assigned to the proper project accounts
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state/province, and local laws and regulations regarding payments of wages, tax withholding, garnishments, and employee elected deductions

About You

• Strong experience managing a team, coaching, strategic work, process implementation and improvements within the group
• Union Experience
• Success factor and SAP experience (open to oracle)
• US and Canadian payroll experience is an asset
• Construction industry experience is an asset
• French or Spanish is an asset

Salary

$110,000 - $150,000/year
