About the Opportunity

• Process semi-monthly payroll for CDN and US entities.
• Process semi-monthly payroll entries to record expenses.
• Process semi-monthly salary allocation entries to record expenses.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, bonus incentives, records of employment, and benefits.
• Prepare financial reports for the Finance Team.
• Record payroll journals, and monthly vacation/stat accruals, and perform payroll account reconciliations.
• Identify and promptly resolve payroll discrepancies, calculating manual adjustments as needed.
• Ensure precise, balanced, and timely submission of annual filings and reports to CRA, including T4 and T4As
• Monitor changes from unions for collective agreements and federal and provincial legislation changes.
• Process bonus payouts through various attribution reports.
• Process ad-hoc compensation requests from employees.
• Provides analytics and recommendations to streamline processes

About You

• 2+ years of experience managing Canadian and US Payroll (must have led a team for 2+ years)
• Experience with ADP
• PCP or CPM Designated
• Strong communication skills-written and verbal
• Advanced Excel (Pivot tables and vlookups)

Salary Range
$100,000 - $120,000/year
