About the Opportunity
- Oversee claim reporting
- Reports on claims trends and assists with sourcing materials from internal partners for claim discovery requests
- Assists with the insurance program renewal process by analyzing insurance program structures, historical claims data, and underwriting data to recommend structural and coverage changes based on industry best practices and exposures of the company
- Manage payment of premiums and service fees to vendors.
- Track and report on spend against budget, conducting analysis as required to evaluate performance
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with process improvement is an asset
- Experience in an insurance related position is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be flexible, organized and customer-focused to foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Understanding of Contracts (be able to find and translate the insurance and indemnification sections) is an asset
- Familiarity with auto coverage, property, general liability, workers compensation coverage is preferred
- Experience in an insurance related position is an asset
Pay Rate
$38/hour
