Junior Accountant - 6 Month Contract to Permanent

About the Opportunity

• Answer Accounts Payable related inquiries; investigate and resolve issues
• Process appropriate invoices, seek approval and follow up with contractors and vendors to make corrections
• Verify all Accounts Payable statements by ensures that statements and invoices received match
• Maintain relevant files for contractors, vendors and utilities
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records

About You

• Post-secondary degree in a related accounting field
• 3-5 years’ experience in related Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Previous experience with QuickBooks an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication

Pay Rate

$20 - $22/hour
