About the Opportunity

  • Lead day to day accounting functions and cash management reporting
  • Manage the overall accounts payable process in the Corporate office
  • Prepare weekly consolidated cash flow / treasury forecast and foreign currency management
  • Preparation of consolidated monthly / quarterly calculation of operational key metrics (AISC, AIC)
  • Maintain accurate and updated equity working papers
  • Prepare general purpose quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS
  • Manage quarterly reviews and year-end audit process, coordinate directly with auditor (Big 4)
  • Manage regular updates on complex accounting models (deferred streaming revenue)
  • Review monthly consolidation entries, corporate journal entries and intercompany reconciliations, including entries for precious metal streaming agreement, and working capital facilities
  • Review monthly / quarterly account reconciliations prepared by Corporate Accountant, including analysis for gold/silver sales pricing/hedging, foreign exchange reasonability and IFRS 16 lease entries
  • Maintain internal controls process documentation, develop and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated budget and forecast for the corporate office
  • Review monthly costs and analyze variances to forecast and budget at the Corporate office

About You

  • CPA Designated
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong soft skills, systems and Excel

Pay Rate

$45/hour
