About the Opportunity

• Ensure Employee Benefits plan is function and update any changes
• Recruiting and Interviewing Staffing
• Payroll (Bi-weekly)
• Attendance (Weekly)
• Vacation Report (Monthly)
• Annual Benefits Renewal and updating the Employee Insurance Benefits Sheets
• Annual Compensation Plan
• Resolve employee issues as they arise
• Maintenance of all Employee files
• Updates and revisions of Employees Policies – Answer questions and provide additional clarification
• Keep up with legislation and government rulings
• Resolve day-to-day employee issues
• Liaise between staff, Managers, and Owners
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety (Training Staff and Meetings Held)
• Advise Managers and staff whenever need arises
• Experience dealing with termination of employment and dealing with employment lawyers
• Stay current with new legislation and advise Executives when necessary

About You

• Diploma or degree in related field or a minimum of five (5) years Human Resources experience
• CHRP or CHRL desired but not required
• Experience with payroll supervision and ability to back-up in emergencies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Interpersonal skills and be highly motivated
