About the Opportunity

  • Provide 1st level technical support for users contacting the IT Service desk
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Determine priorities among end user requests for assistance, recommending most effective hardware/software utilization, recommending developments for desktop system components based on client business needs
  • Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves problems with the aim of eliminating recurrences and reducing calls to the help desk
  • Configure, Install and service end user desktop software and computer related equipment
  • Provide user training on problem areas in order to minimize calls
  • Maintain Helpdesk application to track all helpdesk related requests, provide reports as required
  • Perform IT administrative duties as delegated
  • Documentation of IT processes and policies

About You

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years’ work experience in an IT support function

  • Keeps current on all the technology used in the environment supported
  • Enhanced problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Pay Rate

$20 - $28/hour
