As a Global Controller, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the VP of Finance and lead its global business units and oversee full cycle accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and local compliance for global operations.

About the Opportunity

• Build and retain an effective accounting team
• Ensure development and maintenance of effective internal controls and processes around financial reporting
• Supervise accounting department and team members
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of financial period end closes
• Account reconciliation preparation and review
• Prepare and review head office disclosure requests
• Analytical review and variance analysis
• Income tax preparation assistance and compliance
• Ensure state Sales Tax/VAT compliance in the United States/Europe as well as provide contract/legal support with customers and vendors
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding financial functions
• Prepare cash flow reporting for both management and financial reporting purposes
• Proactively manage and review cash positions to help provide insights into the organization’s operations and business plans
• Assist with due diligence, post close integration and acquisition onboarding

About You

• CPA, CA
• 5+ years of experience managing an accounting department or function
• Software/media industry experience from a mid to large sized company
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15

Salary Range

$120,000 - $130,000/year
