Our client is a national leader in the media industry. They are looking for a Director, FP&A who will be on managing the planning and analysis of the P&L and partnering with business leaders to provide financial support.

About the Opportunity

• Build, own, drive and execute the monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A processes and provide financial leadership
• Prepare annual/quarterly budget / forecast Board presentation materials and standard monthly Executive financial reporting packages
• Create financial models and reporting standards to facilitate communication of financial and non-financial metrics with senior management and external stakeholders
• Conduct regular / ad hoc in-depth analysis for company resource allocation
• Identify financial trends and patterns to generate meaningful insight
• Maintain an understanding of industry trends, key business / cost drivers, accounting policies etc.
• Perform in-depth analyses, provide financial recommendations and effectively communicate financial insights to business leaders to support decision making; act as a trusted advisor to drive insights
•  Provide client contract review and negotiation support
• Drive the continuous improvement initiatives across FP&A and other finance operations
• Create, develop and foster a high performing team through empowerment and development of direct reports

About You

• CPA
• 6 to 10+ years of finance/accounting experience with at least 3 years in financial planning and analysis (budgeting, forecasting, trend/variance analysis, financial modeling) and 4 or more in a leadership position
• Proven experience in effectively engaging a variety of stakeholders, communicating complex information, collaborating and building strong relationships

Salary Range

$140,000 - $155,000/year
