About the Opportunity

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, and assist with balance sheet analysis
• Manage general ledger of assigned companies/entities, and ensure ledger transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and with sufficient support documentation
• Reconcile monthly gross margin reports
• Prepare monthly working papers and analyze transactions to determine corrective actions or adjustments
• Prepare Key Trend analysis reports as required
• Respond to inquiries from various departments regarding monthly departmental/regional reports
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist in quarter/year end functions and audit preparations
• Assist Operations team with developing Revenue Assurance processes, controls, and reporting
• Various ad-hoc tasks as requested

About You

• CPA designation or designation in progress
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a similarly situated role
• Excellent knowledge of Full Accounting cycle
• Great Plains and Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing environments
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and learn concepts quickly
• Ability to communicate ideas and solutions in a clear and concise manner (excellent written and oral skills)
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment

Pay Rate

$30/hour
