About the Opportunity

• Perform month-end closing activities various accruals; adjusting entries; payroll; prepaid expense and commissions’ accruals
• Review General Ledger transactions and prepare accurate and complete journal entries
• Prepare analysis of General Ledger accounts as required
• Assist with accounts payables and accounts receivables sub-ledger reconciliations
• Perform Balance Sheet and Intercompany account reconciliations
• Process payments cheques, EFTs, other payments
• Preparation and filing of monthly taxes HST & QST
• Assist with policy and procedure documentation
• Assist with year-end audit requirements
• Record and manage Accounts payable
• Provide support to the Finance team as required
• Process Canadian bi-weekly, hourly and salary payroll

About You

• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in preparing payroll
• Basic Understanding of ERP software
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and ability to multitask
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
