Senior Manager, FP&A (Closed)

About the Company 

Our client is a family-owned enterprise. They are looking for a Senior Manager FP&A. The Senior FP&A Manager will deliver management reporting and analysis of local financial results, improve controls and budget management with functional stakeholders and enable the strategic agenda through collaborative, timely decision support. They will also lead the implementation of global changes to financial systems and associated local financial processes.

About the Opportunity 

• Lead the financial analysis for business growth and profit enhancement opportunities. Business partnering with cross-functional teams to quantify financial impact of growth opportunities for the business including new innovation, product and channel growth as well as investments. 
• Conduct the Month End process, including analysis and results review with local finance leadership and functional stakeholders as well as generating monthly package for submission to global headquarters. Provide explanation of any significant deviations to budgeted figures or expectations and flag issues for further review with stakeholders; ensure relevant SAP modules are balanced and outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner.  
• Direct the development of the Strategic Plan, Budgets and Latest Estimates with local and international stakeholders. Ensure appropriate tools are available for planning and controls, as well as visibility and comprehension of financial performance compared to plan and prior year, recommending options for course correction.  
• Develop analysis and presentation materials for the executive team and international board presentations. 
• Lead local implementation of global financial systems (ie. ERP upgrades (SAP S/4 Hana), future forecasting system) and restructuring of existing financial reporting and processes. • Leverage expertise in SAP to develop meaningful analysis of business performance and improve controlling processes. 
•  Lead and coach two direct reports. 

About You 

• MBA or CPA 
• 5+ years in an FP&A role working collaboratively with cross functional leaders and internal finance stakeholder 
• 2 years’ experience as people manager (formal or informal management experience) 
• Experience in an SAP environment is considered an asset 
• Strong technical, analytical and systems skills Excel, PowerPoint 

Salary Range 

$115,000 to $120,000/year
