They are looking for a Senior Manager, Finance who will work with business partners in Technology, Actuarial, Project Management and other areas of Finance to build processes that will result in accurate financial and regulatory reporting for the company.

About the Opportunity

• Oversee the process to translate accounting policy papers into business requirements, use cases, journal entries and disclosures. Sign off on work prepared by staff.
• Oversee the testing program to ensure the new suite of systems being implemented are in accordance with accounting standards/Finance requirements.
• Integrate the project into BAU and define the new target operating model post IFRS 17 implementation.
• Managing all Resource Planning activities to ensure project timelines are met.
• Manage the IFRS 17 implementation of various new products to be launched t
• Managing Parallel Year activities.
• Coach a team of professionals to achieve departmental objectives and professional goals.

About You

• CPA
• In depth knowledge of IFRS 4 & 17
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry
• Experienced Senior Manager with demonstrated success in planning and implementing large and complex projects

Salary Range

$120,000 - $140,000/year
