Senior Fund Accountant/Fund Accounting Manager - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for account reconciliations, NAV calculations, performance reporting, fee calculations, fund audits and distributions with internal reporting and record keeping
• Perform administrative tasks as required
• Work closely with the Ops team by interacting daily in brief morning scrums and weekly in team meetings

About You

• Able to set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Experience in accounting, budgets, spreadsheets, and systems
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new things quickly
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong team player
• Respecting confidential information
• 3 years of Fund administration experience with alternatives/hedge funds
• Familiar with equities, bonds. funds/ETFs, alternatives, and ideally derivatives
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• University degree, specializing in accounting or in finance
• A professional designation (CPA or CFA) is an asset

Pay Rate

$45/hour
