Senior Functional Business Analyst (ERP, Financials)

We are currently hiring a Senior BA for a mid-large sized company in Toronto. This role will work across all levels of an organization gathering requirements for ERP projects or supporting continuous improvement in the firm's technology and processes as they relate to financial systems. Specific focus will be delivering technology solutions to the finance department and other business units. 

About the Opportunity

• Lead Finance stakeholders in gathering techno-functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Review financial business processes, identify gaps and propose remediation as they relate to the ERP systems
• Evolve and maintain ERP design documents to reflect changes introduced by new changes
• Analyze and problem solve ERP issues to determine the best course of action
• Facilitate high-level cross-functional meetings/presentations with various levels of stakeholders
• Drive the quality assurance process by assisting the business to translate business requirements and use cases into test plans and scenarios as they relate to the Financial ERP systems
• Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions and the compliance to established standards
• Work with departments across the organization to document and obtain requirements, supporting the creation of prototype solutions such as analytics, KPI dashboards, etc.
• Provide technical assistance to the business in the use of information and data

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Technology is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of Business Analyst experience in a multi-platform ERP environment
• Excellent knowledge of Finance and Accounting as it relates to ERP modules (AR/AP/GL/etc.)
• Six Sigma certification is a plus
• Collaborate with internal finance stakeholders to implement agreed-upon solutions
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP or any ERP system would be an asset
• Ability to work with all levels of management within a matrix organization in a fast-paced work environment
• Proven experience in vendor management (RFPs, Contract management, on-shore / off-shore team coordination, etc.)
• Communication skills (facilitation, listening, verbal, written, presentation, negotiation); to negotiate and establish levels of service with internal customers and external vendors/service providers

Pay Range
$100,000-$115,000/year
