Our client is an independent power producer. They are looking for an Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A who will be responsible to maintain and develop budgeting processes, review project financial models (DCF)

About the Opportunity

• Monthly tracking of project costs vs budgets and updating project models with actuals on a monthly basis
• Navigate through and review complex financial project models to understand various modelled scenarios. Communicate outputs to the executive team in a clear and concise manner.
• Update project models with actuals on a monthly basis and roll project models into the consolidated corporate model.
• Manage the project companies’ financial planning process for budgets, forecasts, and financial projections by overseeing the budget and forecast timelines, submissions and scenario analyses
• Liaison with project coordinators/project managers for inputs and overall project status updates
• Ownership over the Annual Business Planning process working with the Controller and CFO. Assist the Controller/CFO with due diligence requests from the M&A team by quantifying the financial impact of business initiatives, recommending viable options, and validating key assumptions.
• Overseeing/mentoring SPV accountants and their budgeting processes. Ensure processes are being followed and timely submissions are met
• Special projects/initiatives

About You

• CPA
• Strong knowledge of IFRS including latest standards.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a FP&A role (modelling, budgeting, forecasting). Working knowledge of DCF models preferred.

Salary Range

$95,000 to $105,000/year
