Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a financial services company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for the financial reporting and Analysis of a business unit.

• Effectively manage the monthly/quarterly/annual accounting cycles.
• Collaborate with the Controller and Senior management
• Ensure all deliverables meet timelines with accuracy, and lead process improvements for all financial processes including day-to-day accounting, quarterly/annual reporting, audits, budgets
• Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately on a timely basis;
• Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting processes are in accordance with IFRS;
• Work closely with the Manager of Financial Operations to ensure efficient and well controlled processes are in place and maintained for advisor payouts and for CRA reporting.
• Ensure that internal controls over reporting and commissions function effectively;
• Support the development of financial budgets and forecasts;

• CPA Designated (or final stages of CPA (eg CFE completed)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Financial Services Industry background
• Strong Accounting background

Salary Range 
$85,000 - $90,000/year
