About the Opportunity

• Accurate preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Funders
• Communication and coordination with Funders to close transactions
• Completion of full cycle accounting activities such as:
  • Preparation or review of journal entries and associated documentation
  • Reconciliation of key balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Financial statement note disclosure
• Complex accounting including hedge accounting, expected credit losses and securitization
• Active monitoring of cash flow activities
• Critical assessments of financial records and collaboration with business stakeholders to identify root causes and/or communicates results to executives
• Support of annual audit and funder site audits by preparing and maintaining schedules
• Other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned from time to time

About You

• 5+ years relevant work experience in the financial services field
• CPA or CPA equivalent designation
• Post-secondary education with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with Sage 300 ERP or similar accounting software is a plus
• Agile and analytical problem-solving capacity
• Pride in achieving a high degree of accuracy within a fast-paced environment
• Upbeat and results-oriented

Pay Rate

$40/hour
