Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Company

Our client, a very prominent media, advertising and publications organization, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to lead a large portion of their external financial reporting business processes in accordance with IFRS. In terms of progression, this role will have an option to progress towards participating and managing this organization's financial models associated with their corporate finance and FP&A functions. About the Opportunity

• Produce consolidation entries, accruals, reconciliations and other period-end General Ledger postings at the corporate level
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, corresponding MD&A, and other reporting documents
• Produce various financial reports for stakeholder covenant reporting
• Participate in the IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9 implementation
• Prepare financial reporting packages to investors and lenders
• Participate within the various cash-flow forecasting business processes
• Help with M&A activities both pre and post-acquisition (including due diligence, post-acquisition accounting and integration of accounting policies and procedures)
• Participate within the annual corporate budgeting exercise
• Participate within the corporate tax planning and file preparation process
• Complete various special projects as requested
• Prepare documentation, compile position papers and liaise with the external auditors during the quarterly reviews and year-end audits

About You

• CPA, ideally from an accounting firm
• Experience with consolidated reporting
•  Experience with IFRS is an asset
• Strong communicator, with the ability to lead and work closely with internal and external clients alike
• Strong Excel skills

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
