Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Incorporate actual financial results into excel models and prepare variance analysis of actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year
• Support the preparation of the monthly forecast, annual budget and long-range forecast
• Support the preparation of the monthly management reports
• Support the preparation of the quarterly MD&A, press release and presentations to the Board of Directors
• Maintain the Financial Planning and Analysis models
• Support the implementation of an integrated planning software
• Ad-hoc analysis and requests

About You

• CPA designation
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a medium or large organization, preferably in the mining or extraction industry, public company experience
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of BOARD (planning/forecasting software) or any other forecasting application (such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc)
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Power BI
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge

Pay Rate

$45/hour
